rocky and the "dod"

   
       Rocky has been just bursting with personality lately. he has been very clear that he is no longer a baby, and that we need to call him "boy" when I was pregnant with him we didn't find out if we were having a boy or a girl and so we would just to refer to the baby as "baby"  well when he was born it was a little hard to drop the habit and so we have been calling him "Rock'l baby" ever since. Now that he has sworn off being called a baby he has stopped responding to his name in any form.  here is an example
 (Lindsey) "Rocky get off the counters"
Rocklond ignores lindsey
(Lindsey) "Rocklond, get off the counters now"
Rocklond still is not even making eye contact
(Lindsey) "Boy, get off the counter"
Rocklond makes eye contact with lindsey when he hears his "name" and then gets off the counter.

What a cute kid.

here is Rocky's new friend?   they are posing very nicely in this picture but I fear that their relationship is slowly deteriorating.  Rocklond likes Sophie about half of the time and will be really sweet and give her hugs and kisses and to our horror licks. the other half of the time Rocklond picks on Sophie like she is the little sister that he hasn't had yet. he bites kicks pulls hair and other things to make Sophie mad.  I spend most of my day worrying that rocklonds teasing is undoing every ounce of training that that dog has.
