Salt Lake City 2011

Our visit to Salt Lake didn't start out as fun as we would have liked. Rocklond got very sick. All he did for about three days was sleep.  

then he was cranky for about three days and just wasn't himself. here he is a wheeler farm. after this day he got one of his fist two-year-old-molars. 

then things started to get fun. rocklond helped Grandma and grandpa plant peas in their garden. 

We went to the Hogal Zoo  where Rocklond loved the giraffes 

we got to see Megan and Caitlin my buddies from college. 

the highlight of the trip was going to see Emily in Idaho.  Asher is only nine months younger than Rocklond and so they had so much fun playing togeher. 

the first night the kind of fought over toys, but then they became a team of destruction. Rocklond would lift Asher up so he could reach all of the things that they weren't supposed to get into. then they would carry it back to the pack-in-play and hid it in the blankets. Emily and i had to pullout a whole box full of Beads that they had hidden in the pack-in-play.

here they are swinging. we would try and have them take turns but Asher would always climb in if it wasn't his turn. 

Back in  SAlt lake we went to the Church history Museum Rocklond climbed into the bunks that are supposed to show how uncomfortable it was to travel across the Atlantic ocean in a ship. Rocklond almost fell asleep.

We did a lot of other great things also but I don't have pictures of those. it was a really fun trip and we loved seeing so much of our family and friends.  thank you all for making this trip so much fun.
